“President Oprah Winfrey” could be not too far off.
Following her enthusiastic speech Sunday night at the Golden Globe Awards, CNN’s Brian Stelter revealed Winfrey is “currently thinking” about running against President Donald Trump in 2020:
“BULLETIN: I’m told my two of @Oprah’s close friends that she is “actively thinking” about running for president in 2020.”
Stelter stated he knew about Winfrey’s presidential contemplating from two of the entertainment legend’s “close companions.”
The report comes after Winfrey’s long-lasting accomplice, Stedman Graham, told the Los Angeles Times she “would totally” begin a presidential campaign.
Furthermore, “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King, Winfrey’s closest companion, told the Times she thought the tycoon’s speech, which came after she turned into the primary black lady to win the Cecil B. DeMille Award, was “unbelievable,” taking note of it gave her “goosebumps.”
Winfrey, who is justified regardless of an expected $2.8 billion, as per Forbes, campaigned for previous President Barack Obama in 2008 and embraced then-competitor Hillary Clinton in 2016.
“I can assure you that Trump won’t have the ability to build another victory. However if i truly announce a campaign, the American people deserve someone that will invest more effort for our nation,” she stated during her speech.
While Trump has not yet expressed himself about this possability, he had only great things to say in regards to Winfrey before.
